How does the Website Maintenance work?

Simply submit a work order via email or phone and we will begin working on the request shortly after we receive it.

What billing options do I have?

Richard Bankert Web Design will send an invoice to you after the completion of the work order by mail or email. You can also set-up online payment.

What sort of Work Requests are considered Website Maintenance?

• · HTML editing and programming (e.g. updating text/copy, creating links, conversion of documents to HTML format, scanning images, simple client-side programming, etc.)
• · Development and programming of existing web-based tools or applications
• · Third-party software integration
• · Design and production of Web graphics and banner ads
• · Site integrity checking
• · Technical consulting
• · Recurring production server administrative tasks
• · Liaison to hosting service technical support
• · SEO/SEM consulting and/or analysis and support (not including Pay Per Click campaigns and/or management)

What sort of Work Requests are not considered Website Maintenance?

* Product development tasks (including, but not limited to, new Web-based tools or application and/or user interface development)

* Application development

* Origination of content copy (editorial/copy writing)

* Substantial redesign of existing site(s)

* New site design

* Active Flash-based functionality, navigation, application development or otherwise Flash Action Script-driven media design

* Pay Per Click campaigns and/or management

From time to time Work Requests are going to fall in the "gray area". In such cases, requests will be considered on a case-by-basis, and we will make every effort to accommodate them and work with you to ensure your projects are handled quickly and appropriately.

What does a Website Maintenance cost?

1. Hourly Rate. $25/hr. Minimum 1 hour.

2. Flat Rate. If it is a relatively low maintenance, but regular, and will avg about 3 hrs/ month, we charge $30.00/mo flat rate + $25.00/hr over that (however that is negotiable). Some months we may put in 6 - 7 hours and maybe the next month 0 hours. This works out great for the customers budgeting of expenses. For customers whose average requirements are 8 hours / month we charge $60.00/mo flat rate.
